Sureshield Active Plastic Protection Test Data

Sureshield Active Plastic is engineered to address concerns regarding contamination and degradation caused by molds, mildews, fungi, and bacteria. Each formulation of Active Plastic coating and Active Plastic pellet undergoes strict testing to validate its effectiveness before, during, and after production to ensure superior quality. To determine its efficacy against odor and stain-causing bacteria, molds, mildews, and fungi, Sureshield coatings are tested in certified microbiology laboratories. This page provides data on the performance of Active-Plastic-treated products.

Quantitative Antibacterial Assessment: JIS 2801 K/ ISO22196:2007
Method
A bacterial inoculum is placed in microdroplet form on the surface of the samples. Each sample is placed in its own container with a lid. A sterile film is placed on top over the inoculum to encourage good contact. After 24 hours of incubation at 37°C, 50 mL of Letheen broth was added to the container and shook. The number of viable cells on each sample is then calculated.

Selected Results Sureshield Active Plastic has proven anti-mold and antimicrobial protection.
